Milliput Terracotta - 113g Stick - G-MP804
This Terracotta epoxy putty is at first soft and highly adhesive and then gradually hardens. The speed of hardening depends on temperature and at normal temperatures (20-25°C) Milliput becomes rock hard in three to four hours. With the application of heat the setting time can be reduced. After setting hard Milliput continues to cure and is fully cured after an elapse of time equal to the setting time at the same temperature. Once fully cured Milliput can be tapped, filed and painted. Milliput will set under water and is heat resistant up to 130°C.
Mix together equal parts of each stick from the pack. Knead and roll in the hands for at least 5 minutes until the colours merge and become uniform and no streaks can be seen, and then mix for another minute. The surfaces to which the putty is applied should be free from grease and dirt. Smooth surfaces should be cleaned with a suitable solvent or with soap and warm water to remove dirt and grease. Abrading the surface will improve adhesion. The putty may now be applied and will set hard in three to four hours without shrinking.
>>> To truly smooth out your Milliput, apply Methylated Spirits with an old brush, the putty can also be thinned to a paint like consistency in this way for use filling or covering very light cracks. <<<

Ak Interactive FAQ Dioramas 1.3 Extension: Storytelling, Composition And Planning Guide Book 8150
This annex 1.3 complements the Dioramas FAQ series and explores every aspect of diorama design and planning. What makes a good story and how can you get it across with models? Where can you find a good idea and how can you develop that idea into a successful project? How can you compose a diorama so that it tells its story best and looks good at the same time? How can you use colours, figures, accessories, scenery and bases effectively in your composition? How do you turn a historical photograph into a three dimensional scene? How do you plan a box diorama? This seemingly theoretical subject is treated in the most practical way, making it accessible and useful for every modeller.
All topics are clearly explained with concrete examples, drawings, photographs and step-by-step guides.
528 illustrations contain over 300 AFV, aircraft, ship, car, SF and figure models and dioramas by Marijn Van Gils, one of the world’s best modellers.
