Master Box 1:35 'Charlie on the left', Vietnam War kit series - Plastic Figure Model Kit #35105

The National Liberation Front which fought the United States and South Vietnamese governments during the Vietnam War was called the Viet Cong by Western sources. The term Viet Cong is a contraction of Viet Nam Cong-san - 'Vietnamese communist'. American soldiers referred to the Viet Cong as Victor Charlie or V-C ('Victor' and 'Charlie' are letters in the NATO phonetic alphabet), and the term 'Charlie' was used to refer to communist forces in general.

This kit was inspired by a picture of American soldiers from the 101st Cavalry in a Willy’s jeep, taken in 1968.
The kit includes parts for the assembly of five figures. Glue and paint are not included.
