Trumpeter 1:35 - German Geschutzwagen Tiger Fur 17cm K72 - Plastic model kit #00378
In 1942 the decision was made to build a heavy self-propelled gun carrier for the 17cm Kanone 18 based on the chassis of the Tiger II. The vehicle was named the Geschützwagen Tiger. Its total weight including 8 crew members would reach 60 tons. The armour thickness was 30mm at the front and 16mm on the sides. The Geschützwagen's planned top speed was 45km/h on roads.
The first prototype of this vehicle was tested at the end of WWII, but the tank never saw service due to the defeat of Germany. The partly assembled prototype was found by Allied troops in Haustenbeck in 1945.

By the beginning of 20th century, the French uniform had changed little from the Napoleonic era. French infantrymen and cavalry soldiers wore traditional blue trench coats and red trousers. Attempts on introducing more sensible combat clothing were rejected by conservatives both in military circles and among civilians. However, there were some who realised the downsides of the colourful field dress.
In order to satisfy both sides a new uniform was designed. It included red, white and blue threads which, intertwining together, created a drab purple-brown colour. The red threads had to be excluded though, as the dye needed for their production was made in Germany. Remaining white and blue threads produced the so-called "Horizon blue" colour.
In the face of the coming war the new uniform was accepted by the French Government and stayed unchanged till the end of the war. The colour set contains three basic shades designed to recreate the famous Horizon blue worn by French troops during WWI.

This paint set contains three basic khaki shades designed to paint uniforms worn by British troops during WWI. These colours were also common in British uniforms of the WWII era.
The word 'khaki' ('dust-colored', Hindi) came to English from British India. Uniforms of khaki colour were first introduced in 1848 by the Corps of Guides which was part of the British Indian Army. Later, khaki uniforms were used by the British Empire in several colonial conflicts, such as the Expedition to Abyssinia in 1867 and the Mahdist War in 1881. In 1902, after the Second Boer War, khaki was accepted as the colour of the continental British Service Dress.
Unlike traditional grey and red costumes, the khaki uniform allowed troops to remain inconspicuous in the battlefield. It was widely used by British forces throughout the two World Wars, however today it's worn only during official occasions and ceremonies.

Miniart 1:35 - US 101st Airborne Division (Normandy 1944) - Plastic Figure Model Kit #35089
The 101st Airborne Division nicknamed the "Screaming Eagles" is a light infantry division of the US Army specialised in air attacks. During WWII the Division took part in several allied military operations including the D-Day landings, Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge.
The initial part of Operation Overlord began on the night of June 6, 1944 with the parachute landings of the 101st Airborne Division in Normandy, known as Mission Albany. Almost 7,000 US paratroopers descended in the northwest of France, however, low visibility, bad weather conditions and German ground fire affected the landing accuracy. The troops were badly scattered over the area, so most of the mission objectives were not attained.
This kit represents three German soldiers captured by two American paratroopers from the 101st Airborne Division.

The T-28 was a Soviet medium multi-turret tank designed as a support to the T-35 heavy tank against deliberate defences. The Kirov Factory began T-28 production in 1932 which made it one of the first medium tanks in the world.
The T-28 had one large turret and two smaller ones with a 7.62 mm machine gun mounted on each. The multi-turret design was adopted from the British Vickers A1E1 Independent tank.
The T-28 saw action during the Soviet military operation in Poland in 1939 and during the conflict between the USSR and Finland in 1939-1940 (known as the Winter War). At the beginning of the Winter War it became clear that the T-28 armour was too thin, later it was thickened up to 80 mm on the front and up to 40 mm on the sides and rear.
Eventually, the T-28 proved unsuccessful on the battlefield, but still it was important in regard to the development of future series.

Eduard Profipack 1:35 - Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. B Tiger II - Plastic model kit #3715
The Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B, commonly known as Tiger II was a German heavy tank of WWII. It was first used on 11 July 1944 by the 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion during the Allied Invasion of Normandy.
The Tiger II was produced in relatively small numbers - Allied bombing severely disrupted the production and caused the loss of over 600 tanks when the floor area of the Henschel plant was destroyed. Just under 500 Tiger II's were produced from 1943 til 1945.
The successor of the Tiger I, the Tiger II weighed almost 70 tonnes and was armed with an 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 anti-tank cannon. The tank's thick frontal armour and powerful long-range gun gave it a significant advantage against Western Allied and Soviet tanks.

Master Box 1:35 'Charlie on the left', Vietnam War kit series - Plastic Figure Model Kit #35105
The National Liberation Front which fought the United States and South Vietnamese governments during the Vietnam War was called the Viet Cong by Western sources. The term Viet Cong is a contraction of Viet Nam Cong-san - 'Vietnamese communist'. American soldiers referred to the Viet Cong as Victor Charlie or V-C ('Victor' and 'Charlie' are letters in the NATO phonetic alphabet), and the term 'Charlie' was used to refer to communist forces in general.
This kit was inspired by a picture of American soldiers from the 101st Cavalry in a Willy’s jeep, taken in 1968. The kit includes parts for the assembly of five figures. Glue and paint are not included.

Trumpeter 1:35 - JS-7 Soviet Super Heavy Tank - Plastic model kit #05586
The JS-7 heavy tank, also known as the IS-7, was designed in 1948. With its mass equal to 68 tonnes it was the largest and heaviest specimen of the Joseph Stalin tank series. The JS-7 was distinguished by 130 mm S-70 long-barrel gun and thick armour able to protect against the German Pak 44 L/55. Besides, the JS-7 had a "pike nose" front that ensured a high level of protection against head-on attacks. Due to its 1050-hp engine, the tank could travel at 60 km/h.

Meng Model 1:35 - British Heavy Tank Mk.V Female - Plastic model kit #TS-029
The British heavy tank Mk.V Female, also known as the Mark V, was put into service in 1918, at the end of WWI. Based on the Mark IV, the Mk.V differed greatly from its predecessor: due to Wilson's gearbox the tank required only one man to set it in motion. The main distinctive feature of the exterior was the cooling air system installed on each side of the tank. Besides, the design was improved by a Ricardo engine and an extra machine-gun mount.
The Mark V first saw action during the Australian offensive against the German units in Northern France, called the Battle of Hamel. The tank was also used by both the White Armed Forces in the Russian Civil War and the Red Army afterwards.
Until the end of WWI a total of 400 Mk.V tanks were built, both Males and Females. The Males carried two 57 mm guns and four machine guns, while lighter and smaller Females were armed with six machine guns only.

The SEP stands for the System Enhancement Package that allowed upgrades for the tank with digital mapping, the FBCB2 platform and a better cooling system. Later the M1A2 was equipped with the Tank Urban Survival Kit (TUSK) aimed to improve combat capabilities in urban areas and provide protection against rocket-propelled grenades. Despite the recent appearance of more advanced M1 Abrams versions, the M1A2 is planned to be used by the US Army until at least 2050.

Meng Model 1:35 - British Heavy Tank Mk.V Male - Plastic model kit #TS-020
The British heavy tank Mk.V Male, also known as the Mark V, was put into service in 1918, near the end of WWI. Based on the Mark IV, the Mk.V differed greatly from its predecessor, thanks to its Wilson gearbox the tank required only one man to set it in motion. The main distinctive feature of the exterior was the air cooling system installed on each side of the tank. In addition, the design was improved by a Ricardo engine and an extra mounted machine-gun.
