Miniart 1:35 - German Staff Car 170V Cabriolet B - Plastic Model Kit #35107

Production of the Mercedes-Benz W136 began in the mid-1930s. The 170V, which appeared in February 1936, was Mercedes' top selling model from 1936 till 1939, with over 75,000 cars built between 1936 and 1942. The "V" in "170V" stood for "Vorn" (front), and served to differentiate it from the rear-engined Mercedes-Benz 170H ("H" for "Heck", rear) which used the same four cylinder engine, but positioned at the back of the car.

Most of the cars produced were two or four door "Limousine". The Cabriolet A was a two door two seater, and Cabriolet B - a two door four seater. Both had a luggage storage behind the seats and beneath the storage location of the hood when folded. The 170V cars used to have a spare wheel stored on the car's rear panel.

The kit contains 285 parts.
Includes parts for one German car.
